Writing.

Writing every day. I like to write but I've become stuck recently and so, after reading a lot by Sark recently and one of the pieces of advice I've gleaned is that if you want to write then you should just write. Every day. So here I am writing. Not sure I've actually got anything to say as yet, but I'm hoping that if I just write then those things will come. I've often had the habit of reading about stuff but not actually doing stuff and I would like to change that. Maybe it doesn't matter if you don't do things to perfection or even if you don't know what you're doing. Maybe the important thing is that you just do. I dunno.... I'm still getting my head around it all to be honest, but this is day one of my pledge to write every day and I'm writing without too much of a struggle. I'm presuming the editing and polishing comes later but you can't edit and polish what you haven't yet written can you.

I suppose I've been waiting for inspiration but I've been getting worried that it might not come. What if it never comes? Why not write whatever comes out rather than waiting around, playing on Facebook and Google Reader waiting for inspiration to come. If what you're doing doesn't work then what's wrong with trying something else? It feels slightly odd to me but also revolutionary. Therefore I'm just going to have a go and see what I find. I wish myself luck in this endeavour.
